My interest in graphic design was sparked upon seeing the Esprit logo for the first time. At the time I was a school girl and Esprit was a hip new San Francisco based clothing company. The “E” of the logo was simply 3 horizontal bars. Can you do that? Well yes, New York designer John Casado did. I was hooked. Esprit clothing filled my closet for years. All that’s left is this much loved, too-special-to-wear t-shirt.

Like the Esprit logo, a successful identity is designed to be simple, memorable, unique, and meaningful. A harmonious balance of typography, color, and shape.
